SpotWise started with Sameer at Rutgers, Joe at Emory, and Andrew at Loyola — three friends comparing notes on how real estate investment decisions actually get made. Too often, it wasn't data. It was a broker's gut feeling, a comp sheet that was already a year stale, or a hunch about a neighborhood nobody had actually checked against the numbers.

We thought investors, lenders, and developers deserved better than a rearview mirror. So we built the tool we wished existed: a walk-forward validated model that tells you where a neighborhood is headed, not just where it's been — a forward-looking edge instead of a guess.
